Imersive is redefining the future of fashion—one perfectly fitted outfit at a time.

In an era where technology often distances brands from their customers, Roshan Raju is doing the opposite—bringing the human touch back into shopping. As the founder of Imersive, a pioneering fashion tech company, he’s reshaping how we discover our perfect fit and reconnecting shoppers with confidence, comfort, and individuality.

“The inspiration came from watching how broken and impersonal the shopping experience had become,” Raju says. “Online, shoppers are left asking two simple but universal questions—‘What’s my size?’ and ‘How will this look on me?’—yet no one answers them.” His frustration with the lack of empathy in both online and offline shopping led to the birth of Imersive, a company that uses AI not to replace intuition, but to enhance it.

For Raju, the core idea was simple: make shopping feel more personal again. “We started Imersive because we believe AI can make shopping feel more human—not less. By using technology to understand the individual—their body, preferences, and confidence—we can help every shopper find what fits them best, online or offline.”

While Imersive’s journey is still young, it’s already making waves. In just 120 days, the company has signed over 5,000 real shoppers and partnered with 7+ fashion brands, helping them create personalised shopping experiences that are both accurate and effortless. “Scaling to one billion users isn’t just about numbers,” he notes. “It’s about making personalised shopping feel natural and accessible for everyone, whether they’re online or in a store.”

At the heart of this innovation lies TrueSize, Imersive’s AI-powered measurement technology. Designed to make finding your perfect fit as easy as taking a photo, TrueSize captures 45+ measurements in seconds using only a phone camera. “By studying how expert tailors measure the human body, we trained our AI to replicate that precision,” Raju explains. “The Pant Project, one of our early partners, validated our tool against 1,000+ professional tailor measurements—and we achieved an average error of less than 0.5 cm.”

But beyond data and precision, Imersive is built on empathy. “To us, personalisation is empathy at scale,” he shares. “Technology is just the bridge; the true goal is to make every shopping moment feel personal, inclusive, and effortless.” The results speak for themselves: brands using Imersive have seen up to 3× growth in sales and a 25 per cent reduction in returns. “When retail becomes more human,” Raju adds, “it also becomes more profitable.”

Looking ahead, his vision is bold yet grounded. “We’re most excited about a future where fit and personalisation become hygiene, not a luxury,” he says. “In five years, we see Imersive powering that shift —helping brands globally offer accurate, confident, and data-driven shopping experiences.”

As fashion and technology continue to intersect, Roshan Raju’s Imersive stands as proof that innovation doesn’t have to strip away humanity—it can, in fact, bring it back in style.
