Immerse into a curated, conscious dressing experience at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London

The partnership between the hotel and By Rotation centres on a Festive Rental Edit available exclusively to in-house guests.

London’s luxury landscape has been evolving, and one of the clearest indicators of that shift is the new collaboration between Mandarin Oriental Mayfair and By Rotation, one that celebrates craftsmanship, community, and conscious luxury. Instead of relying on traditional ideas of festive dressing, the two Mayfair neighbours are introducing a more streamlined, responsible way for guests to engage with fashion during their stay.

The partnership centres on a Festive Rental Edit available exclusively to hotel guests. Pieces from Cult Gaia, Magda Butrym, Chanel, and Jacquemus sit alongside British designer labels such as 16Arlington, Saloni, and The Vampire’s Wife, all available from £20 a day. The selection feels aligned with what Londoners themselves might reach for—a blend of sculptural eveningwear, sharp tailoring, and recognisable house signatures.

What distinguishes the initiative is not its novelty but its practicality. Guests arriving for the festive period, or for any of the many social events that cluster around it, can book a personal styling session at By Rotation’s flagship store, located minutes from the hotel, and submit their preferences in advance so a tailored wardrobe is ready on arrival. For those who prefer discretion or efficiency within the comfort of their suite can request in-room styling, with pieces delivered directly to their door and collected afterwards by the concierge.

These elements come together most cohesively in the Dressed in Mayfair package, which the hotel has introduced to anchor the partnership within the guest experience. The package includes an overnight stay, a signature cocktail served at the Hanover Bar rooftop, and a personalised By Rotation styling appointment either in-store or privately in the guest’s suite.

Eshita Kabra, founder of By Rotation, sees the partnership rooted in shared intent. “It’s an honour to collaborate with Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, one of London’s most iconic luxury destinations. We are two Mayfair brands who together are reimagining what modern luxury looks like—making it thoughtful, circular and community-driven. Both brands are powered by craftsmanship and innovation, and are united by a vision to create experiences that are as meaningful as they are memorable.”

Rather than concluding after the holidays, the collaboration will expand into themed edits throughout the year, including collections tailored to Valentine’s Day and the summer social season, creating a model of hotel fashion engagement that evolves with the city’s cultural rhythm and the increasingly sophisticated expectations of its guests.
