Few watches carry the cultural and design legacy of the Reverso. Originally created in 1931 for polo-playing officers during the British Raj, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s swivelling Art Deco timepiece has evolved far beyond its sporting origins to become one of the most recognisable watches in the world. Over the decades, the Reverso has continuously reinvented itself without losing the architectural clarity and timeless sophistication that define it. Now, following the success of the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds ‘Or Deco’ in 2025, the Maison is expanding the collection with five new creations that blend vintage glamour, contemporary elegance, and exceptional craftsmanship.
The latest additions introduce a trio of gem-set cocktail-inspired models, a sleek monochromatic white gold interpretation, and a more compact unisex silhouette that revisits the proportions of the original 1930s designs.
A tribute to the golden age of cocktail watches

At the heart of the launch is the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds ‘Or Deco Cocktail’, unveiled in three striking variations: 18K pink gold set with rubies, and 18K white gold versions adorned with either emeralds or blue sapphires. Limited to just 30 pieces each, the watches draw inspiration from the glamour of Art Deco cocktail timepieces from the 1920s and 1930s.
Each watch is set with 46 baguette-cut gemstones placed between the signature gadroons above and below the dial, amplifying the Reverso’s linear geometry while adding a dramatic play of colour and light. The polished gold case and Milanese bracelet contrast beautifully against the softly textured matte-grained dial, creating a sophisticated balance between shine and restraint.
The gem-setting itself is a feat of remarkable precision. Crafted by the artisans of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Métiers Rares™ atelier, the stones are secured using the intricate rail-setting technique perfected in the 1930s. Designed to create an uninterrupted line of colour without visible supports, the method demands extraordinary technical mastery, particularly in the emerald-set edition, where the stone’s delicate nature requires exceptional care and precision.
Powered by the hand-wound Calibre 822 movement, the watches retain the small seconds display at six o’clock and offer a 42-hour power reserve. The movement has been entirely designed, produced, and assembled in-house to mirror the clean lines of the rectangular case.
A monochromatic study in elegance

Joining the collection is the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds ‘Or Deco’ in 18K white gold, a cooler and more understated interpretation of the original pink gold model introduced in 2025. Here, the focus shifts toward tonal refinement and texture, with a silvery-grey grained dial offset by the luminous polish of the white gold case and Milanese bracelet. The monochromatic palette allows the details of the watch to shine quietly, from the applied indexes and Dauphine hands to the subtle interplay between matte and reflective surfaces. Slim at just 7.56 mm thick, the watch continues the Reverso’s tradition of balancing elegance with technical sophistication.
Revisiting the essence of time

The final addition to the collection, the Reverso Tribute Monoface ‘Or Deco Solo Tempo’, embraces a “less is more” philosophy. Presented in 18K pink gold and resized to echo the dimensions of the original 1930s Reverso models, the watch strips the design back to its purest form.
Without the small seconds complication, the dial feels cleaner and more architectural, allowing the symmetry of the Art Deco-inspired case to take centre stage. Measuring 40.1 mm x 24.4 mm, the more compact silhouette is intentionally versatile, designed to suit all wrists regardless of gender. Once again powered by the hand-wound Calibre 822, the piece blends vintage proportions with modern sensibility.
The story behind the Milanese bracelet

A defining feature across the new ‘Or Deco’ creations is the Milanese mesh bracelet, whose silky, fluid texture adds another layer of historical resonance to the collection. Originating in 13th-century Milan as a form of chainmail craftsmanship before evolving into fine jewellery during the Renaissance, Milanese mesh became synonymous with Art Deco elegance during the 1930s. Jaeger-LeCoultre approached the bracelet not as an accessory, but as an integral part of the design language. More than 10 metres of 18K gold thread are woven together to create the densely interlocking links, resulting in a bracelet that feels fluid and almost fabric-like against the skin. Every detail, from the specialised attachment links to the adjustable sliding clasp, was engineered specifically for the Reverso’s slim proportions and architectural silhouette.
With these five new ‘Or Deco’ novelties, Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to demonstrate the extraordinary adaptability of the Reverso. Whether interpreted through gem-set glamour, monochromatic minimalism, or compact vintage-inspired proportions, the collection remains deeply rooted in the Art Deco spirit that first defined it nearly a century ago. Blending craftsmanship, history, and contemporary sophistication, the new Reverso Tribute Monoface creations reaffirm why the Reverso continues to endure as one of watchmaking’s most timeless icons.
