From sustainable fashion collections and artistic collaborations to luxury boutique openings and philanthropic initiatives, the fashion world continues to evolve in thoughtful and exciting ways. Here, we round up the latest launches, partnerships, and industry moments shaping conversations across fashion, jewellery, and design.

SUSTAINED ACT
Inspired by the forest ecosystems, Anita Dongre unveils her collection, titled Breath, that reflects her decade-long exploration of how fashion can exist in closer harmony with nature. At the heart of the collection is her collaboration with Asahi Kasei for Bemberg™ cupro, a regenerated cellulose fibre made from cotton linter, a by-product of cottonseed oil production. Produced through a closed-loop manufacturing process, the fibre offers a more considered approach to material sourcing while delivering softness, breathability, moisture absorbency and rich colour expression. Comprising 15 meticulously crafted pieces, the collection translates nature’s palette into wearable poetry. The colour story mirrors the living world, weaving together rainforest greens, fern tones, deep ocean blues and sky-inspired hues. The collection’s airy and flowing silhouettes are conceived for subtropical climates where elegance and ease must coexist.

CREATIVE COLLABORATION
Homegrown label Twinkle Hanspal collaborates with creative director Doyel Joshi for Forme, a visual campaign that explores the interplay between tension and ease through fabric, form, movement, and silhouette. Conceptualised by Joshi, the campaign draws inspiration from the compositional language of artist Francis Bacon, examining moments of gathering and release. Through subtle, deliberate gestures; a shoulder drawn inward, fabric held in a controlled twist, a silhouette softening as it falls away from the body, the narrative of the campaign, set against a monochromatic backdrop with touches of local Goan flora, captures the duality of restraint and freedom. This conceptual framework closely mirrors the ethos of Twinkle Hanspal’s collection, where drapes are knotted, twisted, and precisely placed to sculpt the body with both control and fluidity.

LASTING IMPACT
Louis Vuitton is marking a decade of partnership with UNICEF through a series of initiatives that combine craftsmanship with philanthropy. The house has introduced new pieces to its Silver Lockit collection and expanded support for UNICEF’s POWER4Girls programme, which empowers young girls. The milestone is also celebrated with a new edition of Rebonds, a photography book featuring global changemakers, and the unveiling of the unique Louis Vuitton Unity Time Object, created to support humanitarian causes.

WEARABLE ART
While fashion and art have long shared a creative dialogue, Ka-Sha’s latest collaboration with artist Jayesh Sachdev moves beyond the familiar territory of wearable prints. Designer Karishma Shahani Khan translates the artist’s rich visual language expressed in his exhibition, titled He Who Permeates, into a limited-edition capsule collection that treats clothing as an extension of the artworks themselves. Drawing from his paintings, sculptures, and installations, the collection employs intricate embroidery, appliqué, reconstructed textiles and artisanal surface techniques to recreate the forms, textures and symbolism of the original works.

CURATED FASHION
AltaRasa, a multi-designer platform, launches its first store in New Delhi’s Defence Colony. Founded by Lopamudra Dutta, a Kolkata-born entrepreneur, AltaRasa brings together south-east Asian designers from across the subcontinent. Featured brands include Sri Lankan designer Sonali Dharmawardena, Reemami by Palestinian-origin designer Reema Al Banna, Indonesian designer Stella Rissa alongside established Indian labels such as Akaaro, Re-ceremonial, and Kiran Uttam Ghosh. Brands such as Idli by Thierry Journo—a fashion favourite from Jaipur—and Kolkata-based label Parama also grace the racks.

HOROLOGY HAVEN
Jacob & Co. expands its presence in India with the launch of its first boutique in Delhi’s DLF Emporio, in partnership with Ethos Watches. The launch marks the Maison’s third boutique in the country and underscores India’s growing importance in the global luxury landscape. Designed as a destination for collectors and connoisseurs, the boutique showcases some of Jacob & Co.’s most coveted high-complication timepieces, including the Casino Tourbillon and Astronomia Regulator, alongside bespoke creations and high jewellery masterpieces.

SYMBOLISM REIMAGINED
NorBlack NorWhite’s fashion aesthete and Bhavya Ramesh’s symbolic jewellery, come together for an exclusive 13-piece collection titled Stare. Drawing from central themes of how both the brands approach design and storytelling, this collaboration brings together the two worlds in a deliberate way. Rooted in symbols of fierce protection often found in everyday Indian life, the collection reimagines fangs, lemons, chillies, snakes, the moon, eyes, and the ghunghroo as contemporary adornment, exploring femininity, rage, vulnerability, and transformation through a shared design language.

ALL EYES
Kerala-born, London-based designer and artist Harri and Portuguese eyewear brand Vava have collaborated for a limited-edition sunglasses collection. Titled Solarpunk, the collection has a total of five designs, crafted using bio-based materials, advanced manufacturing techniques, and precision engineering. It combines architectural geometries, futuristic proportions, and a graphic visual language inspired by machinery, movement, and sculptural form. More than a product collaboration, Vava x Harri is an exploration of identity and transformation. Both brands believe that design should not merely decorate the body, but challenge perceptions and create new possibilities for self-expression.
