On a sunlit afternoon in Oxfordshire, Harper’s Bazaar India, in partnership with The Bicester Collection, inaugurated Bazaar Dialogues at The Apartment in Bicester Village on June 3, 2025. This special event came to life as a celebration that shed light on the South Asian diaspora through meaningful conversations and exchanges around the community’s growing influence in the global fashion and design industries. The dialogue reflected on past achievements, unique strengths, and looked ahead to the exciting directions the industry is taking.
In a warmly lit room, the day commenced with two curated panels, each addressing distinct facets of the community’s creative outlook. The first panel brought together seasoned voices alongside fresh talent from the fashion world, while the second centred on design. Together, these conversations marked a network propelled by more than visibility, committed to charting the path forward.
The afternoon progressed to a more intimate luncheon with 30 leading creatives from fashion and design. What began in the formal setting carried naturally to the lunch table, allowing for deeper engagement and exchange.
Bazaar Dialogues will continue across the media platforms of Harper’s Bazaar India and The Bicester Collection, alongside editorial features profiling the panellists and their inspiring journeys. This first edition sets the tone for an ongoing conversation around South Asian talent in fashion and design.
