Speculation is bound to be at its peak when two of the world’s biggest music artists are spotted together. Even more so, when they’re seen leaving a recording studio together. The past week has gotten all Swifties and Blinks excited as Taylor Swift and BLACKPINK’s Rosé were seen together at a recording studio in New York.

Just a few days ago, on September 9, Swift invited Rosé to a party she hosted at the Electric Lady. The duo were spotted leaving together after the album release party of 1989, an upcoming re-recording of Swift’s fifth studio album that’s set to release on October 27. Rosé looked stunning in a mini black dress while Swift wore an asymmetrical black top and paired it with a grey mini-skirt and black boots.

Some of the other celebs spotted outside the studio included Cara Delevingne, Haley Williams, Sadie Sink, Jack Antonoff, and Margaret Qualley. That said, Rosé was the only BLACKPINK member to get an invite from Swift.

To be hopeful or not

While everyone’s talking about a possible collaboration, the speculation has been debunked by Korean media outlet Newsen, who said that Rosé was only there to attend a party after being invited by Swift and a music industry representative, close to the involved artists, confirmed that, “They were just attending a party and are not collaborating.”

What the two artists have lined up for the near future

Swift is all set to unveil her new album 1989 on October 27, in which she will unleash some new musical gems, along with re-recordings of her iconic hits Bad Blood, Style, Wildest Dreams, and Blank Space.

On the other hand, Rosé and the other BLACKPINK members are currently working on their Born Pink global tour. Their last performance will be held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea, on September 16 and 17.
