Elated by the occasion, Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, shares, “Twenty-five years is a milestone and for FDCI, this wouldn’t have been possible without our co-travellers—Lakmē first and then Reliance Brands Limited. In this eventful and design-soaked journey, one thing is clear—the growth of fashion as a behemoth and a tour de force. The celebrations are robust this year as they also reflect a heady reflection into the past—how we shaped design and its sinuous curves through crafts and heritage. So let’s raise a toast to the future with many insightful and innovative ideas that will change our relationship with style. The trio of Lakmē, Reliance Brands Limited, and FDCI will lead the way as 30 incredible design gurus will light the path this edition. We appreciate everyone who has stood by us rock solid.”

Continuing the tradition of excellence, over 30 celebrated designers, many of whom have previously headlined and shaped the visual language of beauty and fashion at LFW, will come together to showcase their creative brilliance. Their collections will redefine the integration of beauty and fashion, adding to the grandeur of this milestone celebration. “Lakmē’s long-standing and consistent commitment to further fashion in India is unprecedented—it gives fashion designers, make-up artists and models a world-class platform to showcase their creativity, and at scale. While fashion may sometimes feel like it can be accessed only by a select few, Lakmē’s contribution to LFW makes it a cultural phenomenon, merging fashion and beauty. For the past 25 years and continuing, Lakmē, via its innovations, which are debuted each season of LFW, has led the charge on beauty, bringing beauty trends to India. We collaborate and work closely with the best of fashion talent in the country to curate their collection, complementing the beauty trend for the season,” adds Sunanda Khaitan, Vice President, Lakmē India.
