Having made one groove and move to the beat, Yo Yo Honey Singh has always urged his fans to ‘make some noise’, and that is exactly what happened when a crowd welcomed the singer on his arrival at Mumbai airport last night, ahead of his Stage AajTak Millionaire India Tour. Considering his lengthy absence from live performances in the past few years, it was no surprise to see the sheer excitement of his fans to see him back in the game, all set to perform in 10 cities across India. With a thrilling set list and a sold-out crowd, the first show in Mumbai, on February 22, is shaping up to be an unforgettable night. Rest assured that it’s a show music lovers and his fans simply can’t afford to miss—it’s going to be a wild ride full of energy, excitement, and non-stop entertainment!
With Singh hailing from New Delhi, his first order of business was to head straight to his favourite restaurant—the iconic Bade Miyan—to enjoy a meal, along with his entourage, before retiring to their hotel. “This is one of my favourite places to go to. It's always my first stop when I come to Mumbai. Food is very important. Butter Chicken is my comfort food. I do love cooking as well. It’s something rare that I do for very special people.”
Come to serious business and Singh can’t wait to get on the stage. “It feels great to be in Mumbai. Saturday will be the first show of the Stage AajTak Millionaire India Tour. Let’s do it!” With the tickets selling like hot cakes, he knows that he’ll be performing in front of a sold-out crowd. While he promises to make up for his extended hiatus, he guarantees that things will be very different this time around. “This time, I’m performing very differently. I’ve been performing for 15 years now. I used to perform with a DJ and with an acoustic guitar. But this time it’s about the choreography, along with the sound and visuals are new. Come to think of it, I rehearsed for a concert for the very first time in my life. Earlier, I used to just go straight up on stage, feel blessed, and perform. I just want to tell my fans that while you’ve seen me perform on YouTube, television, and award shows, things are going to be new and different this time. We’re visiting 10 cities starting with Mumbai, on February 22, going all the way till the March 5 in Kolkata. Do not miss it.”
The 10-city tour starts with Mumbai on February 22, Lucknow on February 28, Delhi on March 1, Indore on March 8, Pune on March 14, Ahmedabad on March 15, Bengaluru on March 22, Chandigarh on March 23, Jaipur on March 29, and concludes in Kolkata on April 5.
