Ishaara’s menu is one of the many things you’ll love about the restaurant. The establishment is run by employees with hearing and speech impairment, and encourages guest to converse in sign language. Borrowing from many regional cuisines, the Indian menu here includes everything from the tangy chaats of the north to the subtle flavours of the south.

Freny’s, Mumbai

An intimate all-day diner and bar led by Chef Freny Fernandes, Freny’s in Bandra reflects the chef’s East Indian roots, celebrating her heritage with nostalgic curations. From indulgent fugiyas to East Indian-influenced Indyal tacos, the dishes are prepared with seasonal local ingredients sourced from her mother’s farm. Not forgetting their indulgent brunch offerings inspired by New York’s vibrant culture—waffle benedict, cookie dough pancakes, and more.
