Divyam Mehta weaves poetry through Shibori

Designer Divyam Mehta revisits the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori in his latest collection, infusing it with a modern Indian sensibility. Known for his contemplative approach to craft, Mehta transforms the resist-dye process into a dialogue between control and spontaneity. His new line features denims, lungi trousers, quilted jackets, and softly draped tops in earthy tones of olive, plum, and blue. The result is a meditative exploration of texture and tone—a quiet celebration of patience, growth, and transformation through fabric.

As November unfolds, the industry’s momentum reminds us that fashion’s true power lies in its ability to evolve while staying rooted in creativity and craft. From landmark store openings to artistic collaborations, each moment this month has reflected a sense of purpose—one that celebrates both heritage and forward motion. The season may be nearing its end, but the world of fashion is just getting started on its next chapter.
