Bombay Sweet Shop


This year, the contemporary Indian mithai shop collaborated with Netflix musical The Archies to release a limited-edition Christmas Delights Box that includes sweet treats in varying flavours. Think Betty’s Plum Cake Balls, Reggie’s Choco Marzipan Bonbon, Ethel’s Spiced Guava Cheese, and Dilton’s Nana’s Coconut Ice. You can pick a box of your favourite flavour, too, if that’s what you fancy, and don’t miss out on Archie’s Peppermint and Pecan Barks which are a festive take on the shop’s hit Chocolate Butterscotch Barks. 

TwentySeven Bakehouse


The Bandra-based bakery’s Christmas cookie tin has an assortment of some of their delicious bestsellers, like the thin, crispy almond Florentines and chocolate chip cookies, in addition to seasonal specials like Icing Sugar-dusted vanilla Kipferl cookies and raspberry Linzers, both Austrian sweets, along with a classic butter-laden shortbread. You can also try their fluffy Panettone or the boozy plum cake.

The newly-opened cloud bakery in Mahim by ex-The Bombay Canteen pastry chef, Heena Punwani, has a dedicated Christmas Specials section on their pre-order-only menu, and we've got our eyes on Cynthia’s Rose Cookies which are traditional achappams dipped in tempered dark chocolate and the decadent Maska Christmas Cake that features layers of fruit cake with chocolate, mascarpone mousse, and dark chocolate ganache. The log-like finish of the frosting gives it a nice festive touch. There’s a seasonal strawberry Balsamic Pie and a Stollen Babka on the menu, too. 

Provenance Gift Boutique and Coffeehouse


The recently launched Provenance Coffeehouse in Prabhadevi has a selection of holiday-themed desserts for you to dig into. Choose from tarts and eclairs like the ruby-red seasonal strawberries or the chocolate cookie crunch cake with sea salt caramel, perfect for chocolate lovers.

The Gurugram-based cloud kitchen recently opened a brick-and-mortar space where you can either dine in and enjoy their Christmas menu or order their goodies via Whatsapp. Choose from their plum cake, stollen, or the adorable reindeer shortbread that is sandwiched with dark chocolate ganache.  

Miam Pâtisserie


Run by chef Bani Nanda, the pâtisserie delivers across Delhi-NCR and Gurugram. This year, they have a Christmas gift box that comes with two Nolen Gur Sticky Toffee and Date Cake, shortbreads made with nolen gur and studded with chocolate chips, a jar of Kinnow and Sea Salt Caramel spread, a jar of Roselle and Strawberry Jam, and a jar of Belgian chocolate spread. You can opt for an eggless option, too, that has French hearts instead of cakes. Apart from this, the menu also features a log of Nolen Gur Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. The entire box comes wrapped in a festive cloth bag either in red or green. 

Bengaluru

Sour House India


Known for its gut-friendly and fermented treats, Sour House has a special Christmas gift hamper with a stollen, three mince pies packed with dried fruit, and a pack of spiced gingerbread cookies. While this is their standard box, you can get it customised and order in bulk for family and friends, too.

This French pâtisserie by Aarohi Sanghavi is known for its classic desserts like Paris Brest, tarts, and eclairs, and for Christmas, they have a holiday special cookie tin that has five different cookies—melt-in-the-mouth vanilla sable, double chocolate cookie, all-spice diamants, gingerbread and orange biscuits, and hazelnut-cacao nib-cranberry biscotti.

The award-winning pastry shop helmed by chef, Tejasvi Chandela is doling out their popular soaked fruit Christmas cakes, yule logs by the slice or as a whole, and a festive strawberry-pistachio Paris Brest this season.

Concu 


One of the most popular pâtisseries and cafés in Hyderabad, with an outlet in Bengaluru, too, Concu’s Christmas special has confections like nougat, truffles, plum cakes, babka, marshmallows, stollen, pâte de fruits, and more. Their plum cakes come with a side of thick, creamy custard—a perfect accompaniment to the bitter-sweet cake.

Pick from their Belgian chocolate and hazelnut stollen, boozy Xmas cake that can also be topped with vanilla cream if you wish, double chocolate brownie bites, linzer tarts, vanilla and honey marshmallows, gingerbread cookies, and more.

Magnolia Bakery


If you’re in Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Bengaluru, get your hands on the bakery’s classic plum cakes, along with seasonal specials like the red velvet banana pudding and the Oreo Milka icebox bar made with a crispy chocolate wafer crust, Milka fudge icing, cream cheese, whipped cream, and topped with Oreo Milka cubes.

Sapa Bakery 


The Mysuru-based bakery’s Iron Ore Mountain Stollen has become somewhat of an icon in the country, with many batches selling out every year during the holidays. The Saxonian-style stollen is made with a dry fruit mix soaked in rum for three months and features a hand-rolled marzipan log in the centre. This year, the stollen is egg-free and comes in a beautifully designed tin. There is an alcohol-free version available, too.
