The future of fashion starts here: Miraggio unveils its A/W ’26 collection

Built around balance, individuality and recognisable signatures, Miraggio’s latest collection signals a more fashion-forward direction for the brand.

What does it take for a handbag brand to become a fashion brand? For Miraggio, the answer starts with a stronger point of view. The A/W ’26 collection marks a shift in how the brand sees itself, playing with the tension between restraint and self-expression, bringing together a pared-back palette, distinctive hardware and silhouettes designed to feel recognisably its own.

That thinking wasn’t confined to the collection. Miraggio carried the same idea into the launch itself, turning the evening into an extension of the world it was building through the bags. Music, live performances, and the way each piece was revealed all played into the mood, making the experience feel less like a traditional handbag launch and more like a glimpse at where the brand is headed next.

We spoke to founder Mohit Jain, and the first thing he wanted to talk about wasn’t the bags. It was the ambition behind them. “We had successfully built trust with our consumer around being reliable, well-made, and accessible,” Jain says. “But we realised that reliability alone isn’t enough to define a brand with long-term ambition.” It’s a pretty clear indication of where Miraggio is headed. “What do we want Miraggio to be recognised for beyond being a good handbag brand? We wanted to build a point of view that could be recognised even before someone saw the name.”

That idea sits at the heart of A/W ’26. The collection is less about putting a logo front and centre and more about creating details and silhouettes that feel recognisably Miraggio on their own. Black, white, grey, and everything that refuses to blend in The collection is built around black, white, and grey, but the result is anything but flat. Jain describes the palette with a precision that gives the neutral colours a little more context. “They represent the world we operate in, one built around structure, restraint, and the instinct to stay within certain lines,” he says. But there’s room to push back against all that restraint. “It isn’t rebellion against the restraint; the two actually give each other meaning.”

It’s a balance that feels fairly familiar to anyone trying to make their way through a busy day. “You can be disciplined and expressive, practical and aspirational, understated in one moment and very individual in another,” Jain says.

That same thinking carries through as Miraggio expands beyond handbags, with backpacks, duffles, health-focused pieces, and physical retail joining its digital-first roots. “We don’t want that discipline to dilute the personality that made the brand resonate in the first place,” he says. The details help make that distinction. There’s the signature M hardware, a metal flower motif, and a closing ring detail that appear across the collection, giving the pieces a sense of continuity without making them feel interchangeable.

A creative partnership built on balance

For a collection so focused on duality, Seoul-based creative director Ying Yang feels like a fitting collaborator. Jain describes Yang’s sensibility as “contemporary, directional, and very relevant to where we wanted Miraggio to go.” Rather than taking the theme of balance too literally, the collaboration shows up in the proportions, silhouettes, and details, all while keeping the Miraggio woman at the centre. “Every product had to earn its place within the life of the Miraggio woman,” Jain says.

Look a little closer, and the hardware becomes one of the collection’s biggest signatures. A flower is cast permanently in metal rather than printed on for a season, the M travels across different silhouettes, and a ring detail adds something to discover after the first glance. As Miraggio’s own collection notes put it, “Personality isn’t something you save for when it’s convenient. It’s the counterweight that keeps the neutral world from swallowing you whole.”

After a year of expanding its categories and ambitions, A/W ’26 feels like a natural next step for Miraggio. The brand still has the reliability that built its foundation, but it’s clearly looking to be recognised for something more: a point of view that feels distinctly its own.
