From global brand appointments to landmark store openings, fashion’s current moment is defined by expansion, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Here’s everything you need to know now.

MUSIC MEETS HIGH FASHION

A defining voice of her generation, Dua Lipa has been named the new global brand ambassador for Italian luxury house Bulgari. With multiple Grammy and BRIT Awards and billions of streams worldwide, she stands as a powerful and enduring force in contemporary culture. She brings a compelling blend of artistic freedom, authenticity, and modern glamour—qualities that resonate deeply with Bulgari’s Roman heritage and bold creative spirit. This collaboration represents more than a partnership; it is a celebration of creativity and individualism, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to empowerment and freedom.

BAMBOO REVERIE

Dior has opened its latest concept store—the Dior Bamboo Pavilion—in Tokyo’s Daikanyama district, showcasing the work of around 20 local artists, designers, and artisans. Inspired by the façade of the 30 Montaigne townhouse in Paris, the pavilion is boldly reinterpreted in a gilded bamboo form. The space houses men’s and women’s ready-to-wear by Jonathan Anderson, alongside accessories, jewellery, and bespoke services. Each room seamlessly blends timeless simplicity with modernity, where Dior’s signature codes intersect with refined Japanese craftsmanship. Embossed washi paper evokes Parisian moldings, while Japanese lanterns take the form of the iconic Lady Dior bag. The immersive journey culminates at Café Dior by Anne-Sophie Pic, featuring installations by Ayumi Shibata.

COUTURE, REWRITTEN

Amit Aggarwal returns to AM:IT, reimagined as a contemporary prêt label that translates his sculptural couture into wearable silhouettes. This marks a significant new chapter, extending his material-driven design philosophy beyond occasion wear into everyday dressing.

Reflecting on the launch, Aggarwal shares: “Over time, couture became my primary focus and grew into its own universe. I was building a dream world, and I have been fortunate that our patrons met me there. But I feel it is time for me to meet them in their world—a world where the dream is not reserved only for special occasions, but becomes part of everyday life. This is why I bring back AM:IT.”

NICOBAR AT 10

Founded in 2016 by Simran Lal and Raul Rai, Nicobar celebrates a decade this year. To mark the milestone, the brand hosted an evening that unfolded as a living expression of its ethos—layered, intimate, and quietly expansive. The event offered an exclusive preview of the upcoming Rajesh Pratap Singh menswear collaboration, along with a new edit of NicoBaraat, its wedding offering. With this, the Nicobar universe continues to expand.

GLOBAL RECOGNITION

After making a striking impression at Matthieu Blazy’s debut Chanel show last year, Indian model Bhavitha Mandava has been named the newest ambassador for Chanel, as the brand continues to expand its global narrative. Her association with the house has deepened since her appearance in the Chanel Spring/Summer ’26 collection.

ITALIAN FLAIR

Conceived in 2025, Minotti has now opened its flagship store in Bengaluru, strengthening its presence in India. Spread across two levels, the showroom includes a terrace dedicated to the outdoor collection. Designed by Minotti Studio, the space reflects the brand’s aesthetic through carefully curated settings that evoke an authentic home environment—welcoming, refined, and lived-in. The store creates a thoughtful dialogue between Italian craftsmanship and local sensibility, translating Minotti’s global vision into a contemporary setting defined by warmth and elegance.
