A guide to evolving personal style over the years, here is how Kendall changed hers

Most celebrities have style alterations as and when they grow up or climb the ladder of success, usually due to reasons like changes in contracts, stylists, body shape, or even a significant other. Kendall Jenner’s supermodel status extends beyond the runway, thanks to her altered and understated personal style. Jenner can not only style an all-black look in many ways but also make a tracksuit pop and even later work a ballroom skirt effortlessly out on the streets of Cannes. Jenner is famous for her street style, she has a penchant for elevated basics like ribbed tank tops and straight-leg jeans; on the red carpet, she is famous for making a statement in body-hugging gowns and inspiring cocktail attire. January, 2017. Kendall Jenner was spotted at the NBCUniversal Golden Globes afterparty, in an orange Paule Ka gown, silver and gold stacked necklaces, and pointed-toe orange heels.

Fast forward to the end of the year, in November, 2017, Jenner was spotted in New York wearing a plaid-draped Balenciaga trench coat, ripped boyfriend jeans, Adidas Yeezy trainers and rounded sunglasses.

We notice that in February 2018, Kendall has decided to take on a more layered look, while being spotted out in NYC. She wore an Alexa Chung minidress beneath a multicoloured fur stole, dark green sheer tights, black Mary Jane-style slingback shoes, and a Prada nylon mini bag.

In October 2018 for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles, Jenner wore a Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini dress, Ellery slingback shoes, Peter and May vintage sunglasses, and Luv Aj hoop earrings. She epitomised fairycore even before the trend was a thing!

Jenner takes a step back in time with a retro-inspired look in February 2019. For the Versace fashion show in Milan, she wore a Versace denim co-ord black shoes, black small sunglasses, and a colourful scarf wrapped around her head.

While out and about in New York in September 2019, Jenner wore a Ports 1961 co-ord set,  a Staud purse, black leather Jacquemus boots, and rectangular Alain Mikli sunglasses. She rocked the cool and casual look so perfectly!

Jenner hopped onto the Barbiecore aesthetic way before she needed to, spotted in February 2020, leaving Cipriani Downtown in New York City wearing a hot pink crop top and trousers pair from I Am Gia.

For a night out in April 2021, Jenner wore black vegan-leather Killa pants with an oversized black jacket and a cropped white shirt. She even colour-coordinated her mask to match the look.

Kendall Jenner made her mark at the Met Gala in September 2021, where she wore a bedazzled, transparent Givenchy gown inspired by Audrey Hepburn for the evening's theme, "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion."

For a lunch meeting with her sister Kim Kardashian in March 2022, Kendall wore a grey tank mini dress and black knee-high boots with a black Balenciaga bag. This was her ginger hair era, which broke the internet and inspired many (me) to colour their hair in a similar way.

On a rainy day in September 2022 around New York City, Jenner wore a Sportmax denim midi dress with black knee-high boots and rectangular sunglasses. She showed us ultimate casual chic!

For a birthday party in January 2023, Jenner wore a black transparent mesh one-shoulder gown with a black choker embellished with a 3-D tropical flower, strappy shoes, silver stud earrings, and a complementing black purse. As we see, Kendall has come a long way in her dressing sense, from layered looks to now complete sheer dresses, she’s done it all!

At the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party in March of this year, Jenner donned a glittering gold-and-black scalloped gown from Jean Paul Gaultier's SS 2008 haute couture line. Jenner in this dress gave absolute mermaid-core, breaking the internet with its super flattering appeal.
