Back after four long years, the much awaited Black Mirror is back with its many dark and twisted events. The trailer of the sixth season was out recently and we can’t wait for the anthology and the five new stories in it to bend the audience’s mind with its dystopian storytelling.

The trailer shows glimpses of each of the five stories which are titled: 'Joan Is Awful', 'Loch Henry', 'Beyond the Sea', 'Mazey Day', and 'Demon 79'. Starring Salma Hayek Pinault and Schitt Creek’s Annie Murphy, 'Joan Is Awful' revolves around the life of a woman who comes across a TV adaptation of her life called Streamberry, when she browses through Netflix. In 'Loch Henry', a couple goes to a small Scottish town to begin work on a nature documentary but changes their minds after hearing a shocking local story from the past. Set in an alternate reality taking place in 1969, 'Beyond the Sea' sees Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad, as a part of a dangerous space mission where he finds himself lost. 'Mazey Day' is about a starlet who is constantly chased by the paparazzi after being involved in an accident. The final episode, 'Demon 79' is about a department store sales associate (Anjana Vasan), who commits horrible crimes to avoid disaster.

In a statement accompanying the announcement, creator Charlie Brooker said the series would “stretch the parameters of what ‘a Black Mirror episode’ even is,” remaining “tonally Black Mirror through-and-through but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before.”

The series ensemble cast also includes Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Myha'la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Samuel Blenkin, and Zazie Beetz.

Black Mirror will make its much-awaited return to Netflix on June 15, and after watching that terrific trailer, we can’t wait to see how the stories unfold.
