Harper's Bazaar India

In the latest Henley Passport Index, India rose to the 87th position, which means that Indian passport holders can now travel to 60 countries without prior visas, and here, we found the seven countries that must be on your travel list.

Trinidad and Tobago

This dual-island Caribbean nation is a beautiful marriage of palm-fringed beaches, misty rainforests, ecologically-rich tropical jungles, soaring mountain ranges, and enthralling colonial cities, all wrapped in the lap of luxurious hotel resorts.

Bolivia

Let’s start with pink river dolphins! And if that doesn’t appeal to you, this South American country also offers adventures in the famous Uyuni salt, biking down “Death Road”, and moon walking outside La Paz.

British Virgin Islands

This one is a water baby's delight—whether it’s wading through the colourful coves and granite boulders of The Baths in Virgin Gorda, snorkelling in Norman Island, exploring the all-coral island of Anegada, or simply relaxing in Willy T’s Floating Bar—it has it all!

Madagascar

If you’ve watched the movie, you know you’re in for a wildlife treat with this one. Swim with the sharks, take a stroll with the crocodiles, watch whales in the wild, walk through the caves of Ankarana National Park or catch lemurs at a special reserve.

Tunisia

You’ve heard of the Colosseum, but did you know the Roman amphitheatre of El Djem in this African country is just as marvellous? Then there are the remains of Carthage, the city of seafaring Phoenicians, and once Rome’s major rival: the mosaics in the National Bardo Museum, and finally, the dunes of Grand Erg Oriental.

Cook Islands

The colour blue was invented for the Cook Islands. For the ocean lovers, there are lagoon cruises, fishing, diving, and sea sports. For the land lovers, there are hikes, off-road action, cycling and cultural tours.

Albania

Yes, it has its mountain ranges, rivers, lakes, springs, and beaches, but, like other Balkan countries, it has historical treasures to boot—including the UNESCO world heritage site of Gijrokaster Old Town, a museum in an abandoned bunker built by dictator Hohxa, and the historic city of Shkoder.
