All the highlights from Madonna's 'The Celebration' tour wardrobe (until now)

From Versace to Jean Paul Gaultier, the superstar has been showcasing some incredible designer looks on stage.

Harper's Bazaar India

There aren't many superstars who do it quite like Madonna. Known as the 'Queen of Pop'—a title she's fully earned—Madonna first moved to New York in 1978 to pursue a career in performing; now, 40 years later, she's embarking on her 'The Celebration' tour (her 12th overall), visiting cities in North America and Europe, and anticipating 78 shows in total.

Of course, in true Madonna fashion, her tour wardrobe is just as memorable as her big hits. The 'Material Girl' singer kicked things off in London wearing Versace, Vetements, and Jean Paul Gaultier, in looks that were wonderfully in sync with her renegade style: think sheer bodysuits, cowboy hats, and that famous conical bra. She was joined on stage by her friends and family, including FKA Twigs, her son David Banda, and her daughters Estere, Mercury James, and Lourdes.

Here, we chart all of Madonna's impressive 'The Celebration' tour fashion as it happens.

Almarow

Madonna added to her impressive tour jewellery collection with a custom creation by Almarow. Her bespoke "Vogue Cross"—named after her hit single Vogue—was exclusively designed and made for her by the Italian jewellery brand. The star accessorised the impressive gothic piece with a blue leotard, fishnet tights, and a white lace veil.

Vetements: Madonna started her tour in style in London, wearing a custom-made, sheer lace bodysuit designed by Vetements, with a denim mini-skirt draped in chains and cross charms.

Madonna added a Western spin to her 'The Celebration' tour wardrobe, featuring heeled cowboy boots, a leather corset, a studded shirt and, of course, a leather cowboy hat.

Jean Paul Gaultier

Madonna performed in a black LBD designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, featuring the iconic conical bra. The singer first wore the design in 1990; it's just as statement-making today as it was during the early days of her career.

Eyob Yohannes

Madonna added to the drama in a flowing black kimono by Eyob Yohannes, worn with her trademark lace gloves and an impressive halo-style headpiece by House of Malakai.

Madonna—performing on-stage with her daughter Mercy James playing the piano—wore a red silky slip with black lace detail, with a pair of knee-length, lace-up heeled boots.

Versace

Madonna began her tour in head-to-toe shimmer. The singer took to the stage wearing a mirrored Versace catsuit with statement oversized shoulders, with her hair down and straight in a soft pink hue.

"My amazing friend Madonna—you are a ray of light in Versace on the first night of your 'The Celebration' tour," designer Donatella Versace said on Instagram. "Your talent and creativity inspires us all... and Estere is a superstar."

Madonna's daughter Estere performed to her mother's hit single Vogue wearing a bodysuit by Versace featuring one of the brand's recognisable prints, teamed with over-the-knee high-shine boots.
