We’re talking about the men behind the wheel from the world of Formula One who radiate charisma and style. With the current season at the half-way mark, there’s no better time than now to tell you die-hard fashion and F1 fans about the drivers who are a sight to behold not just on the track, but off it as well. 

Lewis Hamilton

Known for his bold fashion choices, the Brit and seven-time world champ is a sight for sore eyes in the paddock and the red carpet. When it comes to the racing track, Hamilton, ups his style game with every race by rocking it in a pair of printed dungarees or acing the denim-on-denim look. A sporting icon who wears his heart on his sleeve, this very quality is seen in many of his crazy looks that he never shies away from. Having teamed up with American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger to create his own line called TommyXLewis, the 7-time World Champion is known to mix it up when it comes to his go-to designers, turning to everyone including Alexander McQueen, Isabel Marant, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Fendi for his stylish buys. Be it fashion weeks around the globe, film festivals, fashion awards, or the Met Gala where he walked the red carpet in a co-designed Tommy Hilfiger ensemble, Lewis Hamilton is the leading man of fashion from the world of F1. 

Charles Leclerc

Driving in the hottest seat in Formula One, for Scuderia Ferrari, Charles Leclerc, one of the most-promising drivers on the circuit, landed a gig with one of the most iconic Italian fashion houses–Giorgio Armani. The Monégasque racing driver was the ambassador for the fashion brand’s 2020 Made to Measure campaign. Furthermore, fans got a glimpse of this fresh face and Charles being his handsome best at the Ferrari fashion show held in Milan this February. He also mostly prefers using Ray-Ban sunglasses amid the American-Italian company's partnership with Scuderia Ferrari. And if you thought his love for fashion and all things style doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon as he plans to launch his own clothing line in the near future. 

Daniel Ricciardo

Owing to his reputation for being absolutely fearless on the track, Ricciardo, fondly known as the “Honey Badger”, also happens to be one of the most stylish guys on the grid. Be it flannel shackets over white tees, to patterned bowling shirts and pullovers, the McLaren Driver has shown us all we need to know when it comes to what the Aussies wear on the streets Down Under. It’s no big secret that the fashion-crazy McLaren driver, who often wears jeans made by cult designer label - AMIRI in the paddock loves Gucci to the end of the world and is known to be an avid collector of Rolex and Patek Philippe watches (he wore it on The Ellen Show). 

George Russell

Matching up to Hamilton when it comes to the car as well as style can be a tough task. But not for 24-year-old George Russell, who with his tall frame and good looks is well worth the hype in both departments. When it comes to the winter season, the Brit, with his accessories and clothes, aces the sweater weather in style. Be it high necks, long coats, or winder-sheeters, his ever-growing fan base doesn’t just revere him as an ace F1 driver behind the wheel, but one whose looks are setting all kinds of style statements. Perfectly displaying old-school British charm, Russell was chosen by luxury men’s clothing store – Mr Porter to model their Kingsman collection in December 2021. Amongst the luxurious things he loves spending the most is watches. Since joining Mercedes this year he’s been sporting wearing watches by Swiss brand IWC Schaffhausen, including an all-black IWC Pilot Watch Double Chronograph Top Gun Ceratanium as well as an IWC Pilot Watch Chronograph 41 Edition created in partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.

Pierre Gasly

If not for an F1 driver, Pierre Gasly would surely give top models a good run for their money with his good looks and charisma. For the AlphaTauri racer, fashion has always been a way for him to get away and disconnect from the race track and get into his own world as Gasly. It’s hard to find someone who can rock it in a white hoodie and red beanie combo and look dapper as ever in a black tux. With an eye for the latest trends, the Frenchman has been a visual treat on countless fashion shoots for the Italian constructors as well as the promotional shoots of headphone brand Blomm and Berger, driver management agency - The Grid and Destination Grand Prix.
