Light becomes the guiding thread of Cartier’s campaign as the baby panther embarks on a whimsical journey, captivated by the sparkle of fireworks, the gentle flicker of diyas, and the glow of festive lanterns. The story culminates in a moment of wonder as the panther watches a lantern ascend into the night sky. Paying homage to the luminous spirit of Diwali, the campaign continues the Maison’s tradition of bringing its iconic baby panther to life through playful storytelling for moments of celebration.

Extending the film’s visual language into the boutiques, Cartier collaborated with Sukanya Ayde, a New Delhi-born artist whose practice draws on traditional Indian art and miniature painting, to create beautifully handcrafted boutique window displays in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Woven throughout the displays is the centuries-old art of Indian miniature painting, reimagined through Ayde’s distinctive artistic language. Handcrafted with techniques passed down through generations, the collaboration honours the precision and artistry of the craft with a contemporary perspective. Inspired by Rajasthan’s palaces, the windows feature hand-carved columns, delicate arches and intricate architectural details illuminated by warm sunset hues, fireworks, diyas, and lanterns—three expressions of light that animate the festive scenes.

Amid this harmonious interplay of colour, texture, and light, the Maison’s playful baby panther can be spotted peeking through the different displays, creating moments of discovery and carrying the film’s enchanting narrative into the boutiques.

Together, the campaign and windows bring creativity, craftsmanship and imagination into dialogue, reflecting the Maison’s longstanding relationship with India while honouring the radiant spirit of Diwali.
