It’s time to say hello to Wisconsin, again! That ’70s Show had a great run—eight terrific seasons spanning 200 episodes. After almost 17 years, Netflix delighted fans with a much-needed spin-off to feature our favourite basement-dwellers in That ’90s Show. Here’s everything that you should be excited about; we know we are binge-watching the 10 episodes this weekend!

Who is playing who?

Topher Grace and Laura Prepon, who starred as Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti in the original show that aired on FOX for eight seasons from 1999 to 2006, will be seen alongside Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, who play Eric’s parents Red and Kitty Forman. This time around, instead of looking over their son’s every move, they’ll keep a check on their granddaughter, Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), while she’s in town for the summer.

Completing Leia Forman's friend group are actors Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen, Mace Coronel as Jay, Maxwell Acee Donovan as Nate, Reyn Doi as Ozzie, and Sam Morelos as Nikki. They are joined by Ashton Kutcher (Michael Kelso), Mila Kunis (Jackie Burkhart), Wilmer Valderrama (Fez), and Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde).

The trailer got us really excited.

Valderrama’s Fez is the first OG Point Place teen to appear in the clip; he’s now a successful hairstylist in the town. Kutcher and the Bad Moms star, Mila Kunis’s characters have a moment inside the legendary Forman house, while Grace and Prepon cuddle on the hood of their car in the driveway.

So, what’s happening on the show?

The 10-episode picks up in 1995, with Eric and Donna’s teenage daughter Leia being “desperate for some adventure in her life… or at least a best friend who isn’t her dad”, according to the official synopsis. “When she arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents for the summer, Leia finds what she’s looking for right next door, when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen. With the help of Gwen’s friends—including her lovable brother Nate; his smart, laser-focused girlfriend Nikki; the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie; and the charming Jay—Leia realises adventure could happen there just like it did for her parents all those years ago. Excited to reinvent herself, she convinces her parents to let her stay for the summer”. What follows are a fun-filled 10 episodes of Leia bonding with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.

It’s one that you don’t want to miss.
