Love, now boarding with Emirates
Emirates celebrates Valentine's Day with a thoughtful curation of luxurious experiences

‘Love is in the air,’ a saying that Emirates took to heart as they celebrated Valentine's Day with great passion and flair. Offering themed treats, Emirates indulged customers with an array of surprises on board and in the lounge. Decadent cakes, pink deserts, star-eyed movies, and romantic music, the ambience was set. Everything came with a touch of love and rare champagne!
The Emirates Lounges greeted customers worldwide with thoughtfully crafted menus. Heart-shaped ravioli was featured in Rome, chocolate-dipped strawberries in Sri Lanka, and Valentine's cupcakes in Cairo. In Dubai from 13th-15th February, First Class customers were served a grand curation of à la carte and buffet appetisers, main courses, as well as rich desserts. From raspberry vanilla cake to pistachio strawberry cake and more, the treats were paired with Moët & Chandon rosé Champagne, as well as a variety of Mocktails and Cocktails that were romantically named, such as Love Potion and Whispered Hearts.
Business Class customers enjoyed red berries, strawberry pistachio tart, raspberry choux and more. The dedicated old-fashioned ice cream cart offered homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream or raspberry and rose sorbet. The Lounge was all about Love.
Emirates made Valentines especially more enchanting as they soared over the world and celebrated between clouds. Soft red lighting resonated the mood as every passenger on board was given a gift. On 14th February, customers in Economy and Premium Economy Class were given a mini gift box with raspberry and chocolate brownie, while First and Business Class customers received chocolate brownies and mini raspberry ganache tarts that were adorned with hearts.
First Class passengers were welcomed on board with a glass of a rare and vintage cuvée that is exclusive to Emirates. The Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 is a tribute to Pinot Noir first produced in 1959. This luxurious drink has notes of raspberry, cherry, cassis, fig, rose, orange oil, saffron, gingerbread and liquorice, and made Valentine's Day an exceptional experience. Known for its vibrant fruit profile, Business Class passengers were offered Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial. This expressive rosé Champagne features flavours of wild strawberry, raspberry, and red cherry, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a hint of spice.
With over 100 romantic comedies and dramas, Emirates ice made sure that the duration of the flight included the Valentine’s cheer as well. Keeping classics such as 10 Things I Hate About You and Notting Hill, swoon worthy K Dramas like What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and Lovely Runner, and a selection of love songs, the entertainment section completed the romantic atmosphere, making the occasion come together as a whole.
Valentines Day with Emirates was a romantic and wholesome experience. From the lighting to the abundant treats, drinks, and films, every detail was curated to cherish its customers, celebrating love worldwide and sharing moments of happiness.
