10 new restaurants and menus across India that should be on your must-try list
Delicious days lie ahead.

A new month calls for exciting new places to dine at, and these latest openings in the country—across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Goa—will have you spoilt for choice. From a glamorous restaurant that transports you to the verdant Amazon forest, to Mumbai’s first chocolate factory-cum-cafe, March promises to be filled with deliciousness.
Mumbai
Fenix, The Oberoi
The hotel’s long-standing fine-dining restaurant has a brand-new look—expect cosy wooden interiors and plenty of natural light. The laid-back but chic ambience makes it ideal for brunch or drinks with friends with the multi-cuisine menu curated by chef Yasdin Pardiwala.
Subko Chocolate Mill
Say hello to Mumbai’s first chocolate factory, where you can witness the process of making chocolate, get a pod-to-bar experience, and, of course, take home a range of artisanal chocolates. The expansive chocolate factory, housed in a renovated textile factory, doubles up as a cafe where you can sample a specially-crafted chocolate-heavy menu, sip on Subko coffee and drinks that spotlight different parts of the chocolate crop.
Amazonia
A slice of the lush Amazon forest comes to Mumbai with the latest addition to the city’s culinary scene—Amazonia. With a moody ambience that uses of larger-than-life animal props, plenty of greenery, and vibrant fringed lamps to channel tropical chic, it is the perfect spot for a night out with loved ones. Dig into dishes that span Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Thai cuisines—think grilled polenta with cottage cheese, Amazonia chicken chili oil dumplings, Amazonia matcha crème brulee, and more.
TwentySeven Bakehouse (new location)
After opening a delivery and takeaway-only space last year to much success, Aditi Dugar’s TwentySeven Bakehouse gets its first flagship retail storefront in Bandra. Enjoy their signature offerings like Bakehouse Tapenade & Cream Cheese Twists and Croissant Cubes (with new flavours launched every month) along with new additions like Salted Honey tart, Cheesy Goan Chorizo Croissant, and more. Don’t miss the soft serve on offer which highlights a new flavour every month—for March it is tiramisu—and can be paired with a fresh, flaky croissant.
Delhi-NCR
Bo Tai (new menu)
We love when one of our favourite restaurants get a re-gig, and this one is definitely on top of our list. Try the prawn dishes on the menu and don’t miss their Asian offerings, too—the slightest Indian twist that all the dishes have will take you by surprise. Not to forget, Bo Tai is known for its signature cocktails, and this time they come in a carefully curated selection for all the days.
Cafe Dali
What started as a decadent delivery-only outlet is finally here in a beautifully designed, carefully curated restaurant in Meherchand Market serving the heartiest best of the Tuscan countryside. From a special "we flew it fresh from Tuscany" truffle menu, to lobsters from the southern tip of India, and seasonal produce from nearby farms—Cafe Dali spells light deliciousness in every morsel. Whether you are choosing one of their bite-sized appetisers, their sily smooth pastas, or light as air pizzas, you can never go wrong at Cafe Dali. And, of course, we cannot have enough of their signature tiramisu. If there is true pleasure on a plate, it is this.
Goa
Mademoiselle
Goa has a new address with a French vibe. The boutique hotel has an in-house cafe by the same name that serves freshly-baked croissants, quiches, and cakes paired with wine. It also houses a Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar called Rosé. The menus for all three restaurants have been curated by Delhi-based chef Megha Kohli.
Miss Margarita
Having made its mark in Delhi, Miss Margarita has a new outpost in the sunshine state and promises the same bold offerings in a more laid-back setting. Savour their popular seafood dishes, grilled meats, and filling Mexican fare like tacos, enchiladas, and more, complemented by their wide range of cocktails (and yes, margarita is on the menu!).
Terttulia
Having a dedicated fan following in Mumbai and Pune, Terttulia has made its way to Goa. Nestled in the bylanes of Panjim, the sprawling restaurant promises delicious, wholesome food and an amazing vibe. Gorge on the popular eggs Benedict, the smoked salmon sandwich, and a variety of salads, tapas, and mains.
Roboto
An ode to Gaijin cuisine, this is a celebration of cultural diversity through Japanese traditions, techniques and ingredients—think a delicious bowl of ramen, ushiyaki plates, sozai, a steamming bento box, and a whole lot more of everything Asian. There is nothing like a nice windy evening in Goa, with a side of Asian yumminess and Roboto's wholesome vibe.
Bengaluru
Maverick & Farmer
The cafe’s second location in the city combines indoor and al fresco seating in an expansive space spread across two floors. Pay a visit to sample their classic coffee beverages that include the world’s first clarified cappuccino, cold smoked coffee, and coffee cherry soda among others.
