In an elegant blend of legacy and craftsmanship, The Oberoi, New Delhi—celebrating 60 remarkable years of timeless hospitality—and renowned couturier Tarun Tahiliani—marking 30 years of design excellence—unveiled Quintessence—The Spirit of Tarun Tahiliani Couture & Bridal 2025.

The collection epitomised Tahiliani’s understated elegance, accentuating craftsmanship, emotional resonance, and precise tailoring. The collection spoke quietly yet powerfully through pearl-studded embroideries, fluid drapes, and structured tailoring—all designed to embody subtle luxury.

The Oberoi, New Delhi, with its serene interiors and architectural grace, served as more than a mere venue—it was both muse and creative partner. Its rich decor, coupled with its enduring legacy, provided the perfect backdrop for Tahiliani’s contemporary reinterpretation of India’s sartorial heritage, highlighting shared values of excellence and timeless sophistication.

“In its quiet, you meet yourself,” Tahiliani’s guiding principle for Quintessence, captured the essence of this bridal collection designed for those who value meaningful elegance over opulence. Complementing the collection was an exclusive partnership with de Gournay, renowned for its hand-painted wallcoverings. They created a bespoke suite, titled Early Views of India, hand-painted on Ivory Indian Tea Paper. These immersive artworks transformed the venue into a living tableau of India’s artisanal heritage. Tahiliani further merged fashion with decorative art by transforming a custom silk panel into a unique couture jacket.

This collaboration between two celebrated icons exemplified a shared vision for the future of Indian luxury—quietly profound, enduringly beautiful, and thoughtfully crafted.
