Is red the new pink?
From Suhana Khan to Gigi Hadid, celebrities around the world are making a strong case for fierce red.
A few days ago, the global cosmetic brand Maybelline’s India arm announced Suhana Khan as its brand ambassador, among others, such as PV Sindhu, Ananya Birla and Eksha Kerung. The young and emerging actor, who will debut in the Zoya Akhtar-directed Archies, Khan, attended her first-ever media event in a stunning red pantsuit. And it’s not the first time she chose to don the colour. A few weeks ago, Khan was seen wearing a sheer red corset dress at the grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). This got us wondering whether red is this season's go-to colour. We went down a fashion rabbit hole and dug out some iconic red-inspired looks worn by celebrities. Take a look.
Suhana Khan
This chic red cropped jacket paired with matching trousers is definitely a statement look. Khan chose to leave her hair loose and completed the look with some make-up. We re(a)dy for some more, please.

Red is the new red, and it wouldn’t take us any more convincing than this metallic red gown with super sexy cuts that actor Kiara Advani wore a few days ago. She paired these with subtle, golden tie-around stilettos.
Kriti Sanon
Sanon too, opted to wear red at the NMACC Gala. The actor arrived on the pink carpet, in a monochromatic Valentino trench coat dress that she paired with a red mini bag, a diamond choker, and red stilettos. We love.
Gigi Hadid
At the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Hadid wore a deep red scrunched-up gown, which was a custom design by Zac Posen. The whole looks gave us '70s Hollywood vibe.
Ashley Graham
Graham knocked it out of the park at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party with a see-through Dolce and Gabbana dress with a pretty hairdo and black stilettos.
Sara Ali Khan
Sara Ali Khan, too, hopped on to the trend with a co-ord knit skirt set. The look was minimalistic, allowing the outfit to be main character.
Shanaya Kapoor
About a month ago, Shanaya Kapoor was seen wearing a classic red, sleeveless body-con dress with a beautiful, jewel-embellished chest line. Kapoor tied her hair in a ponytail and paired the dress with earrings and a silver mini bag.
