While the Cannes Film Festival is best known for its red carpet premieres and headline-making fashion moments, some of the most exclusive action happens far from the flashing cameras. Every year, luxury fashion and beauty houses transform the French Riviera into a playground of private suites, rooftop takeovers, celebrity fittings, and immersive brand experiences, and Cannes 2026 is no different. From couture beauty prep rooms inside iconic hotels to ultra-private jewellery appointments for A-list stars, these are the fashion destinations quietly shaping the festival behind the scenes.

L’Oréal Paris global suite at Hotel Martinez

As one of Cannes’s longest-standing beauty partners, L’Oréal Paris has once again transformed the iconic Hotel Martinez into a full-fledged beauty headquarters for the festival. The hotel façade takeover has become one of the Riviera’s most recognisable landmarks, serving as a central hub for celebrity glam, campaign launches, and high-profile appearances throughout the festival.

Inside, the setup includes ambassador glam rooms for red carpet preparation, exclusive beauty suites, press moments, and events surrounding the brand’s Women of Worth initiative. From touch-ups before premieres to behind-the-scenes content creation, the L’Oréal suite remains one of the busiest celebrity beauty destinations at Cannes.

Dior Beauty Suite at Hotel Barrière Le Majestic

Dior Beauty has unveiled a Riviera-inspired beauty suite at Hotel Barrière Le Majestic for the 79th Cannes Film Festival, designed in soft white and sky-blue hues that mirror the coastal elegance of the French Riviera. Spanning over 350 square metres, the immersive space offers bespoke skincare, makeup, hair, and grooming services for celebrity guests preparing for the red carpet.

Makeup looks are created by Dior Backstage Pros using collections by Peter Philips, Dior Makeup’s Creative and Image Director, while hair styling is led in collaboration with Dyson Beauty and ambassador Pierre Saint-Sever. The suite also features wellness experiences, including massages and facials by Dior ambassadors Sarah Akram and Hadda Akrim, as well as grooming services for men by Dior Sauvage ambassador Brice Tchaga.

At Cannes today, the red carpet is only half the story. Behind every headline-making gown, flawless beauty look, and high-jewellery moment lies an entire ecosystem of luxury suites, hidden salons, and brand takeovers working quietly behind the scenes. From rooftop fittings to couture glam rooms, Cannes 2026 proves once again that fashion’s most exclusive moments often happen away from the spotlight, but still shape everything we eventually see on it.

Chopard Rooftop & Celebrity Jewellery Suite

If there is one jewellery destination synonymous with Cannes glamour, it is Chopard. This year, the luxury maison has once again taken over the rooftop of Hotel Martinez alongside its private celebrity jewellery salon, where stars are styled ahead of premieres, gala dinners, and after-parties.

The ultra-exclusive rooftop space hosts VIP meetings, jewellery appointments, celebrity fittings, and press photography sessions, becoming a key stop for actors and stylists building their Cannes looks. With high jewellery pieces regularly debuting at the festival, the Chopard suite remains one of the most closely guarded fashion spaces on the Riviera.
