While we are celebrating all the great wins at the Grammy Awards this year—including Beyonce scripting history with the most wins, and the big moments at the ceremony—whether it was Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny's hug; or Adele, Beyonce, and Lizzo's Internet breaking picture, we can't help stop to dissect the fashion on the red carpet. Singing sensation Cardi B turned up the heat at the 2023 Grammys wearing Indian designer Gaurav Gupta’s surreal, sculpture-like couture in electric blue. No prizes for guessing who the best-dressed celebrity was at the gala! The custom outfit was a modified version of one of Gupta’s pieces from his SS23 couture collection revealed in Paris last month, the very first time the designer showed his clothes on the Haute Couture calendar.

The stunning blue gown featured the designer’s signature sculptural 3D detailing over the bodice—that flowed from her shoulders, all through her waist, and right to the top of her head. With a plunging neckline, the cut-out gown flowed into a figure-hugging silhouette ending with a floor-sweeping train. If the dress wasn’t enough, Cardi B accessorised it perfectly with a pair of diamond drop hoop earrings, a diamond ring, and matching eyeliner.

And, to follow that, below we bring you some of the other best looks from the 2023 Grammys.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles rocked the 65th edition of Grammy Awards with his stellar performance of As It Was. Dressed in a glamourous silver bodysuit with beaded fringe, the singer was accompanied by a group of dancers who gyrated behind him on a swirling platform, quite similar to the song’s original music video.

Styles walked the red carpet wearing a rainbow jumpsuit with a deep V neck in it and a pair of white shoes. He wore multiple silver rings and his nails were painted white.

Doja Cat

The rapper wore a black latex gown with a train by Versace. She paired the one-shouldered dress with elbow length gloves. The singer also made a statement with her winged eyeliner, black hoop earrings, and a black buzz cut wig.

Beyoncé

The queen turned up late to the Grammys, but the wait was worth it. With the award for best dance/electronic music album for Renaissance this year, she made history becoming the most decorated Grammy winner in the awards show history with 32 wins. She posed with her trophies in a peachy cream velvet gown with a deep V-cut. She wore a metallic gold bustier underneath. The gown featured an off-the-shoulder neckline that rose into a structured cone, a thigh-high slit that revealed matching velvet leggings, and wedges underneath along with black leather opera-length gloves and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery. She also wore a flat disc-like hat washed in gold, which sort of resembled her golden gramophone statuettes.

Queen Bey accepted her awards dressed in a corset Gucci gown featuring a champagne-coloured bodice and a metallic silver skirt with a high-leg slit and ruffled hem, before finally changing into an all-black strapless dress. The structured pointed bodice was made of reflective black material and was paired with a body-hugging black velvet floor-length skirt that she perfectly coordinated with velvet black opera gloves.

Taylor Swift

Swift wore a dark blue crop top and skirt set, covered with silver sequins. The singer also donned large silver earrings, with purple jewels in them, and her statement red lipstick.

Camila Cabello

Cabello looked her resplendent self on the red carpet in a pear-beaded bra and black skirt with a slit. She also wore pearl earrings and black heels.

Lizzo

Lizzo made a bold statement in a custom-embroidered Dolce & Gabbana floral opera coat. She paired the look with matching gloves and silver rings. Underneath, she wore a corset top and matching skirt with sheer fingerless gloves and two large diamond rings like jewelled petals at her fingertips.

Jennifer Lopez

The Let's Get Loud singer looked dazzling as always in a navy and silver crystal-embellished gown by Gucci. She paired the piece with silver bedazzled platform heels with clear straps and carried a disco ball crystal-embellished clutch. She finished the look with stacks of diamond and silver jewellery: chunky Bulgari necklaces, chandelier earrings, crystal cuffs, a blue-stone silver ring, and her green diamond engagement ring.

Sam Smith

Sam Smith put the "red" in red carpet, stepping out in an over-sized red coat with a veiled top hat by Valentino.

Anitta

Anitta was a vision in black Versace, a cascading vintage gown from the 2003 couture collection. She paired the look with silver rings, earrings, and a necklace.
