The Grammy’s are just around the corner and that means another year of some of the most established titans of the music industry and newcomers squaring off for top honours. Set to be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 2, the event will be hosted by comedian, author, and three-time Grammy nominee Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year.

This year’s telecast has a new purpose—to raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts for Los Angeles and aid music professionals impacted by the recent disaster. The Recording Academy and MusiCares have pledged over $1 million and raised over $3.2 million to date in support toward the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort To Support Music Professionals.

With a stellar lineup of performances and a fiercely competitive race for the top honours, here’s a look at what to expect from the 67th Grammy Awards.

The artists with the most nominations

Ruling the nomination charts is none other than Beyoncé who has 11 nominations for her album Cowboy Carter. With this she broke her own record of 10 nominations in 2009. Among the other artists, Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone received seven nominations, while Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift bagged six each.

Alongside Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter are nominated in the top three general categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year.

Both Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter are also nominated for Best New Artist, making them contenders in all four of the major categories at Grammy's. Should either win Best New Artist along with Record, Song, and Album of the Year, they would make history as the first artists to achieve that feat since Billie Eilish in 2020.
