Prestige Golfshire Club, Bengaluru
Having scooped a host of accolades over the past five years, including the title of ‘India's Best Golf Course 2021’ (announced at the World Golf Awards), Prestige Golfshire Club is the place to be for a good game and more. The Prestige Golfshire Club, with 18 holes on a par 72, its green fairways and two-tiered shaped bunkers is a tough one to crack, but the pristine setting of Nandi Hills in the backdrop and numerous lakes and streams on the 275-acre golf course make it all worth it. The club offers luxury at its best with the world-class restaurant—the Falcon Greens—and the JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire Resort and Spa at your service. So, if you’re not in the mood to play the game, spend some time in the pool or enjoy a game of squash.
Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Mumbai
Playing a game of golf in Mumbai, a city pressed for space, is like having all your dreams come true. Bang at the centre of the hustle and bustle of the city and the tree-lined fairways, the Bombay Presidency Golf Club, with a length of 6,148 yards and 18 holes and par 70, gives Mumbaikars an opportunity to enjoy a day ‘out’. This British-era parkland style course, established in 1927, is surrounded by buildings, and a road actually runs through the course, leaving a couple of holes separated from the rest! Taking into account the high number of footfalls at the course, we think it is always better to book your round in advance, and avoid the weekend if given a choice.

The course gets its name from the four natural water springs in and around the area that were used by the Mughals. Designed by the famous American Golfer, Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course enjoys historical importance as the host to the first Women Golf Tournament arranged in 2012, where 50 women across the country participated.

One of the most celebrated golf courses in India, The Delhi Golf Club is spread across 180 acres. And it’s got not one but 27 holes to play at. The club's pride, the 18-hole Lodhi course, with its 5 tee positions and challenging layout, is ideal for seasoned players, while the nine-hole Peacock course is perfect for beginners. There’s a swimming pool and a bungalow-style clubhouse with a gym, sauna, gazebos, and bars to spend time at after the game.
