ESPRESSO EYES

This winter, espresso eyes take the lead as the season’s most wearable smoky update. Deep brown shades take over from stark black, adding depth that feels refined and wearable. Think diffused brown tones that melt into the skin, a hint of shimmer at the centre, and lashes that look undone rather than lacquered. Worn with fresh skin and a neutral lip, espresso eyes offer warmth and definition that suit both busy days and colder nights. Set the look with a soft brown kohl to anchor the colour without hard edges. Cream shadows or satin finishes work best for that lived-in, smudged effect. It pairs seamlessly with the textures of the season—cashmere, velvet, and everything in between.

NEW LIP RITUAL

Curious if a gloss can actually feel as good as it looks? Estée Lauder’s Pure Color Melt-On Glosstick promises to deliver smooth shine with a fuller-looking finish. The formula melts on contact to hydrate and soften lips while adding a reflective glaze. With continued use, the brand claims improved definition and reduced lip lines, keeping your pout comfortable and glossy throughout the day. The glosstick comes in eight shades.

SCENTED HERITAGE

Kapurthala, the bridge-to-luxury label from the House of JJ Valaya, has introduced a fragrance line: JJV Kapurthala Fine Fragrances. The launch marks a considered expansion beyond fashion, translating the brand’s design sensibility into olfactory form. Guided by JJ Valaya, the debut collection draws from royal heritage and global cultural narratives. It comprises three parfums—Serie Royale, Serie Nomade, and Serie Art Deco—each comes in a thoughtfully crafted and collectible bottle. Our pick is Serie Nomade: fresh lavender and citrus unfolding into elegant oud and cedarwood, polished and quietly opulent.

GLOSS REVIVAL

Redken has brought its Acidic Color Gloss range to India, expanding its salon-inspired care for coloured hair. The line focuses on maintaining colour vibrancy and enhancing shine for short-term smoothness. It uses acidic pH technology to help seal the cuticle and reduce dullness from heat or water exposure. The collection includes a sulphate-free shampoo, conditioner, and the serum—designed to support shine and manage frizz. Our pick is the sulphate-free shampoo that provides long-lasting colour vibrancy for up to 32 washes.
