This is the new vanguard set to dominate beauty in the coming year.

offline

India’s beauty landscape is undergoing a transformation, moving beyond traditional standards of beauty and embracing a more inclusive, experimental approach. As skincare routines, makeup techniques, and hair styling evolve, a new generation of beauty professionals—makeup artists, hairstylists, and dermatologists—are at the forefront of this change.

They’re not only promoting the importance of healthy, glowing skin but also encouraging bold, creative expression through makeup and hair. Think Dr Mukta Sachdev's efforts to educate, hair artists Umang and Sonam Solanki's craft, the safe space created by Deep Pathare for beauty lovers and many others. With their deep expertise, they guide their audience on everything from skincare science to avant-garde trends, challenging norms and empowering individuals to redefine beauty on their own terms.

Then there are beauty founders who work to bring the best technology and science to your skincare and makeup. Whether it is Pahadi Local's Jessica Jayne or Ras Luxury Oil's Shubhika Jain, these brand owners are crafting products that enhance the beauty and address the concerns of Indian skin.

Another unsung arm of the beauty industry are a group of professionals, striving to make celebrities look stellar on and off the screen. From Tanvi Chemburkar and Avni Rambhia, to Aanchal Morwani, they add the glam to these stars for everything from editorial shoots and movies, to their appearances on the red carpet.

To ensure this list reflects the most influential names shaping India’s beauty future, we turned to an expert jury panel—renowned dermatologist Dr. Madhuri Agarwal, beauty entrepreneur Komal Basith, and celebrity makeup artist Bianca Louzado. With their deep industry insights, they’ve helped curate a list of changemakers who are setting new standards for beauty in India.

Whether it’s breaking barriers with unconventional looks or advocating for sustainable beauty practices, these professionals are shaping India’s beauty future, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
